Hon Bishop Robert Mutemi- Presiding Bishop

Hon. Bishop Dr. Robert Mutemi initiated the Global Vision Church in 2000 to align with the divine call he received from God to evangelize, establish churches, and disciple pastors in upholding the integrity of the gospel of salvation. God inspired him to develop local church leadership to take charge and propel the gospel forward. This drive led to the highly devolved leadership and governance of GVC, enabling local congregations to be self-propagating, self-financing, and self-governing without detaching from the Head Office. All leaders are encouraged to embrace the mind of Christ, prioritizing sacrificial service over being served.

In the Global Vision Church and ministries, leadership embodies grace to guide, facilitate, develop, and support rather than the power to control. Individuals in high leadership positions are urged to perceive themselves as servants actively involved in developing, enabling, and empowering others to surpass their achievements. Following Jesus's words in John 14:12-14, successors are called to achieve greater feats than their predecessors, fostering the ministry's advancement from glory to glory. The 11 key beliefs of the Global Vision Church guide believers and ministers in delivering their God-given mandate as servants and stewards of the mysteries of God.

Anyone joining the Global Vision Church and ministry must be prepared to observe and uphold its core values relentlessly, as they speak to God's purpose for the ministry—to fulfil the great commission and make a profound difference in the lives of many.
